The department has modern equipments in its laboratories in the fields of electronics, television, digital electronics and microprocessors, communication including optical communication and microwaves.

Printers and other peripheral devices are available in the computer laboratory, in addition to various add-on-cards. The microprocessor laboratory of the department is equipped with microprocessor kits. All computer facilities are made freely available to students.
