    The department regularly organizes workshops on AutoCAD and CAD-based design tools in collaboration with reputed training partners such as CADD Centre, enabling students to develop industry-relevant design skills.

    Expert sessions and seminars on CAD design and advanced engineering tools are conducted to enhance conceptual understanding and exposure to current technological trends.
  3. Industry Interaction & Expert Talks
    Industry talks are organized in association with leading organizations such as HP India and Tata Steel Ltd., bridging the gap between academia and industry practices.
  4. Virtual Laboratory Exposure
    Workshops on Virtual Labs in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur provide students with remote experimentation capabilities, enhancing practical learning beyond physical laboratories.
  5. Advanced Design & Prototyping Training
    Hands-on workshops on SolidWorks Design Software and 3D Printing are conducted in association with Elmax Systems & Solutions, promoting innovation and product development skills.
  6. Social Responsibility & Community Engagement
    The department actively participates in medical camps, blood donation drives, and community service activities, fostering ethical values and social responsibility among students.
  7. Awareness & Life-Skill Programs
    Programs on Financial Literacy and Cyber Security are conducted to equip students with essential life skills and awareness required in the modern digital era.

    A unique initiative, the “Wall of Mechanical”, encourages students to showcase innovative ideas, promoting creativity, brainstorming, and peer learning.
